Early-access version. SlipWork is still in early access. We're having these pages reviewed by an attorney and will update them before SlipWork opens to everyone. If anything material changes, we'll email account owners first.

SlipWork is made by Botelho Technologies (“we”). This page explains what we keep, why, and who else touches it. Short version: your shop's data is yours, we use it only to run SlipWork, and we never sell it.
What we keep
- Your account: names, email addresses and passwords (stored scrambled, never readable) for the owner and crew.
- Your shop's work: customers and their contact details and addresses, jobs, notes, photos, parts, time worked, and invoices — whatever you and your crew enter.
- Payments: if you take card payments or subscribe, Stripe handles the card details. We see whether a payment went through, never the card number.
- Basic logs: like most websites, our server briefly records requests (such as IP addresses) to keep things secure and fix problems.
How we use it
Only to run SlipWork for you: showing your jobs, sending invoices and password-reset emails, taking payments, keeping backups, and helping you when you ask. We don't sell data, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- DigitalOcean — our server (United States).
- Stripe — card payments and subscriptions.
- Resend — sends SlipWork's emails, such as password resets.
- Backups — nightly copies, kept on our server and on equipment we control, so a bad day doesn't lose your records.
Your customers
Your shop decides what to record about its customers and is responsible for having their permission to contact them. A customer's invoice link shows only that invoice.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over HTTPS. Each shop's data is walled off from every other shop, and crew only see what the owner allows. No system is perfect; if something ever goes wrong that affects your data, we'll tell you promptly.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your shop's account and data. Backup copies roll off within about 90 days.
